This is a fun book, with a good plot, but with characters that are a tad forgettable. I enjoyed the magical world that was built here, and the description of the house made it sound like somewhere I'd really like to check out.
I couldn't get this finished though, I couldn't drag myself through it any longer. So, it's a 1 star from me, and I hate giving out low ratings on ARCs. longer.
How to Save an Undead Life is the first book in the Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy series. It drops us in to a world where magic, as well as vampires and necromancers, definitely exist. It was a good read, and one I didn’t regret picking up at all. Especially since it was on Kindle Unlimited.
Oh, and can we agree not to talk about how terrible that cover is. If I was judging a book by its cover, I'd cringe. Although maybe that's another of the clichés this author seems to be going for.
